- Graduate + B.Ed.:
- First, you need to complete your graduation from a recognized university. This means you have to finish your Bachelor’s degree in any subject of your choice. It could be Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), or any other equivalent degree.
- After completing your graduation, you need to pursue a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree. B.Ed. is a professional course that prepares you for a career in teaching. It usually takes one or two years to complete.
- OR (B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed.):
- Alternatively, you can opt for an integrated course where you simultaneously study for your Bachelor’s degree (either B.A. or B.Sc.) along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree.
- This means you’ll be combining your subject-specific studies (like History, Geography, Mathematics, etc.) with education courses to become a teacher.
- UTET/CTET Paper-II Pass:
- UTET stands for Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test, and CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. These are exams conducted by respective state governments or the central government of India to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions.
