Selection Procedure to be followed:
- Computer Based Written Exam (CBE) also called the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET)
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

The Navy MR (Agniveer) Vacancy 2024 will have a Computer Based Written Test with the following pattern:
- Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Time Duration: 30 Minutes
- Medium of Exam: Bilingual (Hindi/English)
- Type of Exam: Objective Type Multiple Choice
- Negative Marking: Yes, with 0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer.
For the test, candidates will face 50 questions each from Science, Maths, and General Awareness, totaling to 50 marks.
Section A: Science and Mathematics
- Nature of Matter, Universe: Covers topics like planets, geography (soil, rivers, mountains, earth), satellites, sun, electricity, and its applications.
- Force and Gravitation, Newton’s Laws of Motion: Includes concepts of force, gravitation, Newton’s laws of motion, work, energy, and power.
- Heat, Temperature, Metals and Non-Metals: Discusses heat, temperature, metals, non-metals, carbon compounds, measurements, sound, wave motion, and atomic structure.
- Mathematical Simplification, Ratio and Proportion: Involves simplification, ratios, proportions, algebraic identities, linear equations, simultaneous equations, and basic trigonometry.
Section B: General Awareness
- Geography: Focuses on ports, inland harbors, culture, religion, and freedom movement.
- History: Covers important national facts about India, heritage, arts, dance, defense, wars, and neighbors.
- Current Affairs: Includes languages, capitals, currencies, common names, full forms, and abbreviations.
- Sports: Covers sports championships, winners, terms, and number of players.
For Male Candidates:
- Running (1.6 Km): Completion within 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Squats (Uthak Baithak): Minimum of 20 repetitions.
- Push Ups: Minimum of 15 repetitions.
- Bent Knee Sit Ups: Minimum of 15 repetitions.
For Female Candidates:
- Running (1.6 Km): Completion within 8 minutes.
- Squats (Uthak Baithak): Minimum of 15 repetitions.
- Push Ups: Minimum of 10 repetitions.
- Bent Knee Sit Ups: Minimum of 10 repetitions.
